Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you request services, use property care reports, apply as a provider, or connect a business review account.

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Information you provide

The Installation King collects information you submit through this website or provide while arranging services. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, property address, service preferences, messages, appointment details, and uploaded photos or documents.

Property care services may also involve authorized contacts, access instructions, visit checklists, observations, photos, reports, and records of approvals. Uploaded files may contain embedded metadata. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information in service photos and messages.

Provider applications may collect identity and contact information, service territories, experience, insurance details, licenses, tax documentation, supporting documents, and account information needed to evaluate and administer the provider relationship.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, arrange and perform requested services, communicate about appointments, create and deliver reports, administer accounts and subscriptions, process payments, evaluate providers, and maintain business records.

We also use relevant information to prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, manage access, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Service communications may be sent by email, telephone, or another contact method you provide. Contact us if you want to change your communication preferences.

Sharing and service providers

We share relevant request and job information with staff and service providers involved in evaluating, scheduling, or performing the work you request. Providers may be independent contractors. Reports can also be shared with contacts you authorize or people to whom you give a private report link.

Hosting, database, email, payment, analytics, and security providers may process information as needed to operate the website and services. We may disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security concerns, or to protect legal rights. A business transfer may involve related records, subject to applicable obligations.

Payments

Card payments made through Stripe are processed by Stripe. Our systems keep payment-related references, transaction status, invoices, and subscription records needed to administer services. Do not send full card numbers or security codes through a quote form or ordinary email. Stripe's handling of payment information is described at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Google Business Profile and reviews

An authorized business administrator may connect a Google account to synchronize reviews for the selected business listing. The integration requests Google's business.manage permission and uses it to retrieve authorized account and location details and reviews. The integration does not post review replies or change the business listing.

We store the connection credentials in encrypted form and use them to refresh the authorized review connection. Review data may include the reviewer's public display name, rating, review text, date, and source link. These public reviews may appear on our website with attribution. Google account data obtained through this connection is used for the review integration, not sold or used for advertising or AI model training.

Administrators can disconnect the integration in the admin panel or revoke access through their Google account connections at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Disconnecting removes the stored authorization and API-synchronized review cache. API-synchronized reviews expire from display after 30 days without refresh and are purged by the scheduled sync process. Separately imported public reviews are managed independently. Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies, browser storage, and technical data

The website uses cookies and browser storage for features such as signed-in sessions, Google connection security, saved private access information, and promotion dismissal preferences. Server and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and error records.

When enabled, Google Analytics helps measure website usage, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse. These providers may process browser, device, and interaction information under their own policies. You can manage cookies and stored site data in your browser; blocking or clearing them may affect sign-in and other features.

Property reports and information security

Private property reports are intended for authorized access rather than public review displays. Access links can provide access to the associated records, so keep them private and contact us if a link needs to be revoked or replaced. Public Google reviews are separate from private customer reports.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including account permissions and scoped access for supported report workflows. No website, transmission, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit access codes or sensitive documents outside the designated workflow; contact us if you are unsure how to provide them.

Retention and your choices

We retain information as reasonably needed to respond to requests, provide services, maintain reports and business records, support billing, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the record type and purpose; report history, audit records, and financial records may need to be retained after a service ends.

Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, ask about retention, or withdraw permission for optional communications. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by applicable law. Disconnecting Google is described separately above.

Children, external services, and updates

Our services are intended for people with authority to arrange property services and are not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so we can review and address it.

External websites and services have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services or practices change and will show the revised date above. Contact us using the details below with privacy questions or requests.
